Opa with Christopher
Here's my Dad and his wife Claudia with little Christopher. Dad and Claudia were over for a couple of weeks (around the time of Gary's christening). So my Dad became a grand father (Opa in German) twice over in the space of a couple of months.

thanks for the good wishes - your young fella looks like he'll be in charge soon enough ... how did the birth go ? I'm not looking forward to the wife being in so much pain.
The birth was tough. I won't scare you with the details (as each birth is different) but for us it was long and tiring. However during the 12 hours we were in the delivery room one women came in, gave birth and was out in 5 minutes! It is tough seeing someone you love in so much pain but the midwives were excellent and really got her throught it.
